Dundee FC Centre Back signs to Radford University

We are delighted to announce that Dundee FC starlet Michael Hutcheon has signed to top NCAA Division I Radford University ahead of the Fall 2011 Men's Soccer Season.

Michael is a tall, powerful and commanding centre back who has played for the Dark Blues for the past three seasons. He captained the U-19 Academy team in his final season and would have been offered a full-time professional contract if the club had not slipped into administration in late 2010.

Michael will link up with Head Coach Marc Reeves at Radford University in Virgina in August and will become an integral part of the team which Marc and his staff are building.

Radford University compete in the Big South Athletic Conference which is regarded as one of the toughest athletic conferences in the nation.

RU are aptly named the Highlanders and they will be hoping that their very own Scottish Highlander can lead them to glory in 2011.

Sporting Futures USA are extremely confident that Michael will go on to become a massively successful player for Radford and will thrive within the US collegiate game.

Congratulations Michael & GO HIGHLANDERS
