Success for Stirling Albion Academy Players

Sporting Futures USA's David Binnie and Graeme Donald were delighted to see three of their Stirling Albion U-19 Academy graduates offered two year professional contracts with the clubs 1st team.

Josh Flood, Daniel Ashe and Gary Brass all made the step up this year and will hope to cement a regular place in the Stirling Albion 1st team in next season's SFL Division 2.

Both Graeme and David take a great deal of satisfaction from seeing their players make the grade. Equally, both are just as proud of their other players who will take up the chance of playing within the US College system this coming fall.

David Binnie commented: "Our job at Stirling Albion, if you like, is to prepare players for playing in the first team. This season has been particularly successful in that regard with Danny, Josh and Gary making the grade. We are thrilled for them and have high hopes for their continued development at the next level. We also hope that both Daly McSorely and Andy Hunter can impress enough in pre-season to win a contract for themselves. The downside of our job is informing the other members of the team that they do not have a future at the club. This again is another reason why we do our utmost to find opportunities in the the United States for the players who are eager to take on this opportunity."

Sporting Futures USA wish the lads all the very best next season whether in the Stirling Albion FC 1st team or within the United States College System.
